I started writing to the Governor of Wisconsin to stop the murder of innocent pre-born babies and uphold Wisconsin’s 940.04 Statute annually since 1992.  The first response I ever received was a form letter from Governor Walker, saying that creating 250,000 new jobs was his priority. I was reminded of Newt Gingrich saying that his Contract with America must be implemented before he can think of combating abortion.  After 8 years, Scott Walker made it clear, he cared more about the economy than he did about the Right to Life.

If we restored the Moral Order first, that would go a long way toward restoring the Republic.  The pre-born can’t survive the abortion procedure which is by design meant to murder them.  You and I can survive three days without water, a month without food, and a lifetime without a robust economy.  Access to water, food, and a prosperous America are good things indeed, but the preborn shouldn’t have to wait another minute to have their Right to Life re-secured.

The Declaration of Independence states: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

The Constitution Party of Wisconsin declares the God-given Right to Life to be secured by our Constitution “to ourselves and our Posterity.” Our posterity includes children born and future generations yet unborn. Any legalization of the termination of innocent life is a direct violation of our Right to Life.  Most importantly, the Bible in Exodus 21:22-25 declares that the law protects children in their Mother’s womb in the same way it protects everyone else.

Finally, the Right to Life should be a goal for Christians and people of conscience, no matter what denomination or political party they subscribe to.  I agree that contacting your representative is necessary, but so is contacting the Governor.  It is a sad reality, but we will have to convince a socialist, Tony Evers, of the errors of his ways.  So please sign the petition, and have your friends sign the petition and let Mr. Evers know that he has a duty to abolish the practice of abortion in Wisconsin.
